The Remains of the Day

64% read, 112 pages left

Your days are spread across a calendar app, a notes app, a habit tracker, a reading list and a pile of school sites. Horae gives those pieces one home, without forcing your life into someone else’s system.

Six things, one place.

Each one is simple on its own. Together they make a day you can see.

1 Tasks and Today

Your day, as one list.

Add what you need to do, give it a date, and see events, planned blocks and tasks together, with the free time between.

2 Calendar

Your week, at a glance.

Your events sit beside your tasks. Bring in an external calendar, and paid plans add two-way sync.

3 Habits

Small habits, kept quietly.

Keep a few habits and see how many you kept this week.

4 Reading

The book you are on.

Follow your current book and how far through it you are.

5 Notes

Notes in Markdown.

Write in Markdown, and export your notes whenever you want them elsewhere.

6 Cards

Flashcards, due when they are due.

Make flashcards and see which are due today, by subject.

Every plan includes Home and Today, the calendar, money, note export, the Milk and Dusk themes, guided setup and sync across your devices.

Shape the home screen.

Resize and hide widgets until Home fits your week. Pick one below and try it.

Select a widget, then try it.

For students first.

Questions.

What is Horae?

A calm Life OS for students first. Tasks, calendar, habits, reading, notes, flashcards and study live in one place, so your day is one list instead of six apps.

Can I use it now?

Horae is in private beta and open by invitation only. Ask for an invite and we will write back.

What does it cost?

Hestia is free. Hermes is €20 a year, Athena is €39 a year and Zeus is €59 a year or €6.99 a month. Paid plans are not on sale yet, so nobody can be charged today. These are the planned prices.

How does Athena work?

Athena is for students. We check each request by hand, so write to us and tell us where you study.

Is there a phone app?

No. Horae runs in your browser, on your phone as well as your computer. There are no native apps.

Where are my files kept?

Connect your own Google Drive and your files use your own storage, with no limit from us on any plan. Without Drive, Horae hosts your files: 100 MB on Hestia, 1 GB on Hermes, 2 GB on Athena and 5 GB on Zeus.

Where is my data?

The app and its database run on Cloudflare. Sign-in runs on Supabase, and invitation emails go through Resend. Read the privacy notice for the full list.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. You can export it in Settings, under Data. You can also ask us to delete your account, and we erase your data within 30 days of confirming with you.
